Birds high view Traditional Geocache

Park in lay by at top of Sandford Avenue. Take the footpath marked Hope Bowdler Hill. Follow path up hill to footpath on the left. Climb over stile and cross field to entrance of Helmeth Wood. On entering the wood, take the right hand path.  Happy caching! 

This is my first cache hide. It is an ammo box. The box is full of child friendly swag.. I chose the sight for the views of the Stretton Hills. The Longmynd on your left, Hope Bowdler Hill to your right, and my favourite hill The Caradoc straight ahead.  This being said, you may not see the views when the trees are in leaf. It was a beautiful autumn day with bare trees when I hid the cache with Bloke. 

Visit it in spring to see an amazing carpet of bluebells.
