Fairlie Puzzling Multi-Cache

Muirhead reservoir is approximately 110 acres and situated at the roadside about 4 miles from Largs on the A760 Kilbirnie road. Please park in the layby on the westbound side of the road, and make your way to the trailhead co-ords, which will take you to an old metal gate providing access to the reservoir. Just behind the reservoir is an old disused quarry, in which a puzzle has been placed. 

To get to the quarry you will need to cross the waterway connecting Muirhead reservoir with Camphill reservoir. You don't need to get your feet wet, a pathway will take you across. Please note, to get to this cache you will have to cross fences, so be mindful of this, it may pose a problem for those with dogs.

Having crossed the water connecting the two reservoirs, head into the disused quarry to find the puzzle. Please note there is a decoy piece just to make things a little trickier! Once completed, this will reveal the final co-ords for the cache. Be mindful of sheep and respect the area. Enjoy!
