This is located off the Thompson Bridge Road on the Starks-Industry town line. Due to the conditions of the road at various times of the year it is best to park at N44 43.383 W070 00.366 (a small clearing just past the cemetery). It is about a 1/4 of a mile walk in to the bridge. Please only tighten the cap on the container until snug so the next geocacher can open it without difficulties.
Thompson Bridge is a dry-laid bridge across Joshua Brook. The construction of this was supervised by John Thompson around 1808. This bridge still stands today and because of its historic and architectural heritage as an example of dry construction, the bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 1991.
