A two-stage multi cache placed adjacent to Sorrel’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. I have driven by this cemetery so many times since I used to work closeby and always thought it would be a great place for a cache. Visited the area again while searching for another nearby cache and after walking the grounds, I finally found the perfect spot for the final and made the placement. There is a gravel drive inside the cemetery where you can park and is accessible from Airport Boulevard. Look for the brick pillars for the two entry points. If you feel uncomfortable parking inside the cemetery, you can park at the nearby fast-food restaurant and walk over.
Posted coordinates will take you to the approximate center of the cemetery where you will find the statue of a heavenly angel. This monument is the only angel statue here so you can’t miss her. Collect the following information from the inscription at the base of the statue and apply some simple math to get the final coordinates:
N 35° 51.??? Count the number of letters in the FIRST line of text at the base of the statue. SUBTRACT this number from 352 to get the last three digits of North.
W 78° 49.??? Count the number of letters in the FOURTH (and last) line of text at the base of the statue. ADD this number to 538 to get the last three digits of West.
