O miejscu:
Mała wioska Zalesie Królewskie, daleko od drogi. Kapliczka, drewniany płot, latem mnóstwo kwiatów, chata pod strzechą, a wśród tego wszystkiego Pani Renia i Pan Zenek, często w słomkowych kapeluszach, ale zawsze z uśmiechem na ustach.
Warto tu przyjechać i zobaczyć chatę borowiacką z 2 poł. XIX wieku (borowiacka, bo mieszkańcy Borów Tucholskich to borowiacy). Chata to najprawdziwszy zabytek, wpisany do rejestru zabytków. Kupiona była w fatalnym stanie, teraz jest odrestaurowana, ma nową strzechę, okna, drzwi i elewacje szczytowe. Wewnątrz postawiono na nowo piece węglowe i platę (czyli kuchnię). Chata nic nie straciła ze swego charakteru, ale dzięki temu można w niej zamieszkać.
„Chata pod strzechą” otrzymała znak promocyjny „Marka Lokalna Bory Tucholskie” oraz tytuł „Perła w koronie województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego”. Właściciele, o ile tylko będą na miejscu, z pewnością chętnie pokażą swoją perełkę.

About this spot:
Zalesie Królewskie - a small village far from city buzz. Roadside shrine, wood fence, lots of flowers in summer, a thatched cottage and among them Renata and Zenek wearing straw hats and smile on their faces.
It is well worth comming here to see the cottage built in the second half of the nineteenth century. It is a real monument which is listed in National Register of Historic Places. It was bought in a disastrous state but then redecorated. It has a new thatched roof, windows, door and gable elevation. New coal heating stoves and a kitchen stove have been built inside. The cottage has lost none of its character but due to the changes one can live in it.
The thatched cottage was given a promotional sign "Bory Tucholskie Local Brand" and the title "A Pearl in the Crown". The owners, if only they are at the spot, will willingly show you their pearl.
