This cache is the first of a planned Faversham Creek trail. QEcachers are working with a local community group to raise awareness of the historic importance of the Creek area. This first cache in the trail is placed by the purifier building. You can park in the town or on roads nearby or for a little while in the nearby supermarket car park. The purifier building is not yet open to the public. The purifier building is the only surviving building associated with the gas works and is currently undergoing renovation. We hope that while you visit Faversham and do some more caches that you will visit the creek area and learn a bit more about its very interesting history.
