Take a ride down Scenic Route 83. Straight past Sonoita. After a couple dozen miles hang a left and drive as far as your car is able. Sunnyside is a ghost town most famous for having been a cooperative, almost a commune, and the people stayed long after the mine played out. Visit 'Stay on the Sunnyside' cache to see the ruins of the town, this cache will take you near their own ruins.
Great 4 wheeling adventure or a lovely walk. The sunnyside townsite is extensive and you can still find a lot of evidence of the inhabitants and the life they led. Until recently someone lived in the one intact house, but even that seems abandoned now. I hope you enjoy this lovely, historic area.
