Geocache Description:

The container is an ammo can loaded with a good amount of swag. It's at a fishing area on the Saranac River. Here you have a great view of the river and some falls. Definitely explore the area while you're around.

This cache is named for the woman I saw while I was placing it. Apparently, stray cats have built a compound on the other side of the parking lot and this lady comes by and feeds them. I was walking around and heard her calling "Here, kitties!" Cats came from everywhere. Please be careful when you're driving in so you don't kill any.

I entered the location originally from Rugar Woods, but it's quicker to drive down the road. The trail here leads up to behind the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse and ultimately into Rugar Woods, where there are many other caches. The trails go under the Northway and end up on Military Turnpike, so you can find all of them in one hike from here.
