Geocache Description:

The Centennial Final Challenge

This cache is at the posted coordinate, but in order to log this cache, you must first fulfill the challenge requirements listed here. This is the final cache in the yearlong series hidden in honor of the 100th birthday or “Centennial” celebration of the city of Banning.

The challenge here is you must have found, signed, and logged 100 caches with the word “Centennial” in the name. You may use any cache with the word “Centennial” in the name as long as you have actually logged a find on them. The Banning100Team has tried to make this challenge easer for you over the past year by hiding 100+ caches that meet the requirements within 10 miles of this cache.

You must post a bookmark list or a list in your found log with the 100 caches that contain “Centennial" in the name. We will be checking each log and/or bookmark list to verify qualification for logging this challenge as found.

There is a FTF prize (worth over $50) for the first person to qualify for and log this cache.

The rating of this hide would normally be a 1.5/1.5 but we have rated this cache a 5/5 based on the difficulty of finding and logging 100 hides with “Centennial” in the name.

Congratulations to gidgetbrandy for their FTF on this year lone experiment. They were the only cachers to keep abreast of our hides and we knew long before the end they most likely would be the winners of the FTF prize. Nice Job!
