Banker to the world's terrorists, Le Chiffre attempts to pay off his debts by entering a high-stakes poker tournament. His scarred, cloudy left eye is his distinguishing characteristic, which weeps blood as a result of a malfunctioning tear duct that he assures to his opponents is "not sinister."
