Geocache Description:

This is a memorial to our recently gone dog "Charlie".

After 4 years of being our friend, our first son, our faithful company, our joy, our carer, our lots of things, we found him lying dead in the entrance of our house, under misterious causes, waiting for us to return and give us the last good bye; it was something that broke our hearts, filled our eyes with tears of sadness and changed our lives. He was only 1 week to his 4th birthday (09-dic-2013). Now, among some other things, this is one of ways to pay him respect and never forgetting him. Please bear in mind that this cache, even though is open to the public, we would like it to be for dog lovers only, so we request you to post pictures of your dog (with or without you) and write a note for your dead or alive dog. If you have lost a beloved dog, you will understand us; if you have a dog that you love, love him as much as you can, think of a way to keep his body and a way to say goodbye, it is hard, trust me!

You will be able to get here through the many trails in the park, the coordinates will take you to a 2-trees-in-1 and you will have to look for a small white container, from medicin. Has no pen, only a log book and a gift for 3 finders: 3 coins of the extinct currency of Ecuador (5, 10 and 20 Sucres).

This is part of the first series of geocaches we have located with my wife and son in the metropolitan park and one on the El Panecillo hill, they are, from north to south:

- Charlie (Memorial)

- SEDATE-1 (Bridge)

- SEDATE-2 (Tree)

- SEDATE-3 (Aspririn)

- SEDATE-4 (El Panecillo)

Note: SEDATE is the name of our family "squad" and stands for our names: SEbastian, DAniel and TEfa.

If you want, we can contact you with a knowledgeable bilingual driver for your geocaching travels (and travels in general) in Ecuador.
