Geocache Description:

Aroha Island is a small eco reserve near Kerikeri, with full public access between the hours of 9:30am - 5:30pm. Please sign in at the information centre on arrival.

There are a number of kiwi living on the island, as well as regenerated native bush and an abundance of native bird life, with some beautiful walking tracks around the island.

This cache is located in an orchard which contains citrus and stone fruit trees. There is a beehive nearby, but the bees are very passive and will leave you alone if you leave them alone.

The cache is hidden within 10 metres of the co-ordinates.

Please replace carefully and do not allow other guests of the island to observe you.
