Willie Jess Robertson (born April 22, 1972) is an American TV personality, businessman, outdoorsman, hunter, and author. He is best known for his appearances on the reality TV series Duck Dynasty on A&E, and his ownership of the company Duck Commander. Robertson lives in West Monroe, Louisiana with his wife Korie (m. 1990) and children John Luke, Sadie Carroway, Willie Alexander "Lil Will" (adopted) and Bella. Willie and Korie also have a foster daughter from Taiwan named Rebecca.[2]
Phil Alexander Robertson (born April 24, 1946) is an American professional hunter, businessman (Duck Commander), and reality television star on the popular television series, Duck Dynasty. He is also featured on the television show Buck Commander, An avid hunter, Robertson was "in the know" about everything related to hunting, especially that of duck hunting, and was extremely unsatisfied with the condition of duck calls of that day. He began to experiment with making a call that would produce the exact sound of a duck. He aimed at making a call for duck killers, not professional callers. He claimed that "No duck would even place in a duck calling contest." He invented his first Duck Commander call in 1972. He received a patent for this call and the Duck Commander Company was incorporated in 1973.[10] Today, the company of Duck Commander is a multi-million dollar empire, headed by his son, Willie Robertson.[13]
Jason Silas "Jase" Robertson is a television star on the A&E reality television show Duck Dynasty, the COO of the business Duck Commander, an innovator, and a "professional" duck hunter. Robertson lives in West Monroe, Louisiana with his wife, Missy, and his three children Reed, Cole and Mia.[2] Robertson is known for avoiding work in favor of hunting and fishing, speaking "duckinese", and for his self-proclaimed frog hunting abilities. He calls himself "a frog's worst nightmare".[3]
Silas Merritt "Si" Robertson (born April 27, 1948), often referred to as Uncle Si, is a television personality, preacher, hunter, outdoorsman, and employee at duck call maker Duck Commander. He is most well known for his role on A&E's Duck Dynasty and the Outdoor Channel's Buck Commander. He has also made appearances on other television shows.[1] After dropping out of Louisiana Tech University after three quarters, Robertson was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War.[3] During the war, his mother sent him a set of Tupperware cups, two boots, and two jars of jalapeno peppers in each boot, due to the fact that he loves jalapeno peppers.[4][5] These gifts are his greatest treasures, and he is rarely seen without one of his plastic cups drinking iced tea, which he treats with equal importance.[4] Si retired from the Army in 1993.[6]
