The Dastardly Cache.
Back in the 1960's a number of children's cartoons were released.
One of these was called "Catch the Pigeon." Dick Dastardly, and his sidekick a dog called "Muttley", were instructed to stop the pigeon by 'The General', who was never seen.
Dick was aided and abetted by members of "The Vulture Squadron", Dick Dastardly was the leader, Muttley, was his bungling canine sidekick, Zilly, a cringing coward, forever running away and having to be fetched by Muttley on Dick Dastardly's order of "Muttley! Fetch!" and Klunk, the Vulture Squadron's stout and steady chief designer and pilot. Each episode sees him developing aircraft or weapons (often missiles which home on some bizarre trait, such as a person sneezing) with odd features and attachments designed to catch Yankee Doodle Pigeon.
The pigeon, "Yankee Doodle Pigeon", always evaded capture except in one episode, "Stop Which Pigeon?", he was caught but was accidentally released.

In 1957, they created a company which became the most successful television animation studio in the business, producing programs such as The Flintstones, The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Jetsons,Scooby Doo, The Smurfs and Yogi Bear, Top Cat, Wacky Races and many more.
Together they won seven Academy Awards and eight Emmy Awards. Their cartoon shows have become cultural icons, and their cartoon characters have appeared in other media such as films, books, and toys. Their shows had a worldwide audience of over 300 million people in the 1960s and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
The cache is placed alongside a little used footpath. It could be incorporated into a round trip taking in other nearby caches.
