Cheoc Van (竹灣) is one of the two beaches in Coloane, Macau. Though it is less famous than the Hac Sá, it is said to be more beautiful because of less crowded, less exploited, and more tranquil. It is also one of the best places to enjoy the sunset in Macau.
To get to the cache location, you may take one of the following public bus routes and drop off at either Piscina de Cheoc Van (竹灣泳池) or Praia de Cheoc Van (竹灣海灘):
- 15 Jardins Oceano (海洋花園) ⇔ Povoação de Ka-Hó (九澳村)
- 21A Barra (媽閣) ⇔ Praia de Hac Sá (黑沙海灘)
- 25 Portas do Cerco (關閘) ⇔ Praia de Hac Sá
- 26A Bacia Norte do Patane (筷子基北灣) ⇔ Praia de Hac Sá
While you are waiting for the sunset, there will be plenty of time for you to search for this cache. The cache box contained a dice, a pinball, and a Namco amusement coin. You may freely trade with any items you like too. :)
