Captain's Log - Comma Cache Series Traditional Cache

There are many Comma Club Caches out there, and they are usually placed to honor a cacher who has achieved 1,000 geocaches of any type. The Comma Cache Series is placed to honor those obsessive few who have achieved 1,000 consecutive days of finding at least one geocache per day. This series was specifically placed to commemmorate Robin1, Bubberdad, Team Troglodyte, and LogDawgs, who all attained this honor in the winter of 2013-2014.

This series is placed in the deep forest alongside the Spring Creek Greenway trail, and is placed with permission of the Spring Creek Greenway project manager. Park is only open dawn to dusk...please respect the hours!

"Space...the final frontier." As any Trekkie will tell you, these words have been immortalized in multiple Star Trek television series, books and movies that span the globe and the decades. I grew up watching the original television series, met the series creator (Gene Roddenberry) and several of the original series stars while in college, and think it is a testament to the power this franchise holds that a whole new movie series has been launched...almost 50 years after the pilot episode was first aired! To me, it's obvious that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few!

Of all the Comma Cache Series caches, this is likely the most difficult...not because of the container, but because of the terrain. Boldly go, my friends...boldly go.
