Originally called Stevenstown, Delta is one of the earliest settlements in the region. It was founded in 1796 by Abel Stevens, a Loyalist settler from Vermont. He walked from one end of the province to the other and back and forth to Vermont bringing over 100 families to settle in the area. An educated man, Elder Abel Stevens, an ordained Baptist minister, was instrumental in the construction of roads, bridges, mills and a foundry. He was a truly remarkable man for his time.
This cache is located within a small park named after our town founder. Room for lots of swag and tradeables. Available year round, you should be "Abel" to find this one without much difficulty. BYOP (just in case).
Congratulations Ms. Muffet on FTF!
