Geocache Description:

This mystery requires some bridge skill or a friend who has.

Having sex is like playing bridge. If you don't have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand. – Woody Allen

Bridge is a game that separates the men from the boys. It also separates husbands and wives - George Burns

Bridge is one of the last games in which the computer is not better. – Bill Gates

The Game

The history of contract bridge, one of the world's most popular partnership card games, may be dated from the early 16th-century invention of trick-taking games such as whist. Bridge departed from whist in the 19th century, and evolved through the late 19th and early 20th centuries to form the present game.

The auction is a bidding process undertaken within strict procedural and ethical protocols to determine the declaring side and the final contract. The contract is an undertaking to win at least the specified number of odd tricks.

Bidding System - Your bidding system is Say C including RKCB, Splinter and Michaels. What is the next bid? Note: the bidding may continue after your bid and you only see your hand

Points

1 level =1 point, 2 level = 2 points, etc

Game (vulnerable or non- vulnerable) = +1

Game is based on your next bid (not what happens later), i.e- if your bid is 1 spades and it is obvious you will end with at least 4 spades it is not game and therefore not +1,

Pass, clubs, diamonds = +0

Hearts, NT = +1

Double, spades = +2

Small slam = +1 (not addition for Game)

Grand slam = +3
