Welcome to the 2013 Caching Conundrum End-of-Year Playoff Blowout Celebration! Sponsored and hosted by Central Ohio Geocaching, The Caching Conundrum is a monthly event in Columbus where geocachers meet for camaraderie, food, and puzzling madness. Each month features a different type of conundrum; competitors have been battling for months to gain points in the yearly standings. Now that the 2013 regular season is over, it's time for the points to pay off! This event will feature a playoff system to determine the 2013 Champion.

Haven't participated all year? Not a problem! The Playoff Blowout Celebration is open to all cachers, even if you won't be playing. If you do want to participate, but haven't attended the monthly events, you're also in luck, as slots for the Playoffs will include a few last-chance qualifiers! But if you have absolutely zero interest in the puzzling portion, this event will be a great meet-and-greet and also a spectator extraviganza! We invite those who have come all year and those who have not stepped foot in a Conundrum once.

Here's how the Playoffs will work:

* The Top 10 puzzlers from the yearly standings will secure automatic entry to the Playoffs.

* Competitors who show up on January 11 who have not secured a spot will have a chance to battle each other. The top two players will move to the Playoffs.

What will the puzzling format be?

It's a surprise! Come on, you didn't think we'd give it away that easily, did you?

At this point we are looking to give away prizes for the Top 10 players, but prizes will likely extend to the three last chance qualifiers as well.

We will also be giving away random prizes to all people present!
