Teatr Baj Pomorski to jeden z najbardziej znanych teatrów lalek w Polsce. Założony przez malarkę Irenę Pikiel-Samorewiczową, jest młodszym bratem warszawskiego Teatru Baj - stąd nazwa. Jego historia sięga końca II Wojny Światowej. Pierwszym spektaklem w repertuarze - jeszcze w starej siedzibie w Bydgoszczy - było "O krawczyku wędrowniku".
Obecnie w teatrze grane są nie tylko spektakle dla dzieci, ale również adresowane do widzów dorosłych. Aktualny repertuar można znaleźć na stronie internetowej teatru.
Dla turystów najciekawszy będzie nowy budynek Teatru, oddany do użytku w 2007 roku, a konkretnie jego frontowa część, stylizowana na gigantyczny drewniany kredens. Zwłaszcza w nocy, oświetlony kolorową iluminacją, stanowi - nomen omen - iście bajkowy widok.
Kesz to niewielkie plastikowe pudełko, ukryte w pewnej odległości od teatru. Latem trzeba uważać na dzieciaki grające w piłkę na pobliskim boisku.

Baj Pomorski Theatre is one of the most famous polish doll theatres. Is was founded at the end of World War II by paintress Irena Pikiel-Samorewiczowa and it is a little brother of the Baj Theatre in Warsaw. The first play in the repertoire was "O krawczyku wędrowniku" ("The wandering tailor").
Nowadays the theatre displays not only children plays, but alse the ones addressed to adults. You can find the current repertoire at the www page of the theatre.
For turist the most interesting thing about the theatre is its new bulding, founded in 2007. The front wall of the building is stylized for enormous wooden sideboard. It look beautiful, especially by night as it is floodlit with colorful illumination.
The cache is a small plastic box, hidden few meters from the theatre. During summer you have to be careful, because children playing football at the nearby pitch can see you.
