If you park at the end of SUnrise Ridge Drive you will have less of a climb to these caches. Ignore the obonxious signage about the trailhead there being for residents only.
Take Briones Crest trail to encounter the three creatures haunting the forest here!! (This particular one is off the Spengler trail). You will need a compass to find these three creatures...I suggest a sighting compass.
Place yourself at the starting coordinates and look around for a ghoulish face staring at you. There is a ghoulish face in a tree that looks a bit like the face in "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. Line yourself up so that your bearing to the screamy ghoulish face is about 210 dergrees magnetic (this will have you at about the closest position to "The Scream" that you can get from the trail. Now, walk 65 paces downhill along the center of the trail. Just to your left is a tree (see photo). Behind this tree extending away from the trail, is another tree or long branch on the ground, (see photo) which points to yet another tree just beyond its end. You will find the geocache in under a pile of bark/sticks behind that tree.
