Geocache Description:

This should be a pretty quick puzzle for most to solve. Finally, right? Well, I was watching football a few days ago and decided I finally needed to research how a certain statistic was calculated after seeing it represented on TV time and time again. The Passer Rating!

Passer Rating (also known as Quarterback Rating or QB Rating) is a measure of the performance of passers, primarily quarterbacks, in American Football and Canadian Football. Passer Rating in the NFL is on a scale from 0 to 158.3, with 158.3 being the best. When the formula was first created, a 66.7 rating indicated an average performance, and a 100+ rating indicated an excellent performance. But passing performance has steadily improved since then. In fact, during the 2013 NFL season the league average rating was 86.0.

The NFL Passer Rating formula includes four variables: completion percentage, yards per attempt, touchdowns per attempt, and interceptions per attempt. Each of those variables is scaled to a value between 0 and 2.375, with 1.0 being statistically average (based on league data between 1960-1970). See the below diagram for the complete formula needed to calculate a Passer Rating.

Now that you have a general idea of how the Passer Rating is calculated... Here is your puzzle!!
