Well, my last cache here disappeared only after a couple of weeks, so I am replacing it with an ammo can that blends in a little better with the environment and moved it a bit. Luckily when I was replacing the cache, I found the log of the previous cache laying on the ground. I guess whoever stole the last one had no use for the log.
During my last Navy Deployment, I collected several ammo cans from .50 cal and 7.62 mm helicopter gunnery exercises I completed. Now that I am home, these ammo cans are burning a hole in my pocket (figuratively speaking of course). So for the New Year, I placed a nice sized (.50 cal) ammo can in a very easy-to-find location. It happens to be extremely kid friendly as well.
I placed some kid friendly SWAG in the container to keep the kiddos happy.
