Vlaie Pond is a shallow lake fed by the surrounding hills and flows out from both sides. The North end runs out to meet the Schoharie Creek while South portion becomes the Headwaters for the Catskill Creek. This area is divided by a causeway at the North end of the pond.
This is a medium size cache placed at the bottom of the hill at the causeway. There is a pull-off for parking and from there you can either go down to the causeway or take the path leading to a platform look-out.
The Cache containes FTF pin & Geo pin along with some SWAG.
