Geocache Description:

DO NOT PARK on the Franklin River Road / Bamfield Road to find this cache. There is plenty of safe parking at the end of Anderson, just around the corner.

Cache contents are very child friendly at time of hide.

THIS IS OUR 100th CACHE FOR YOU.

Not that we care about the numbers. Really! If we did, we could have reached this number long ago. We only know it is 100 because Groundspeak is kindly keeping track of our caches, just like they keep track of your finds and hides for you. We firmly believe if we are going to continue to find, we should continue to hide as well.

All of our hides were placed for a reason. Maybe we found a nice spot and wanted you to see it as well, perhaps it was a nice walk in our lush forests that struck us at the time as one to show you. Others were placed for those who could not manage the forest walks or for the tourists who needed the incentive to go for a walk in the area where they stopped. Or... maybe it was to get them to stop and stay for a while.

We hid a couple of 'series' to keep you huntng - one was to get you out to places in this beautiful Valley you live in that perhaps you had not been to before. One was to show newbies, and others, several different cache types with a great lack of muggles while they searched.

This cache was hidden as we took one of our Grand Dogs for a walk. A new trail to us and Abby liked it as well. Close to the cache you will approach a hill of roots - living roots. If all the roots belong to one tree, it should never tip over. If the roots belong to many of the trees here, they have shared the area well. Please be gentle as you walk here - you are stepping on the toes of these trees!

Proceed a little farther and the trail takes a turn. Abby stopped here, so we decided to look around. We found a nook to place the container. There is a single piece of nature made cover so please be careful with it. This tired old nurse will appreciate you being gentle. While the brook was babbling today, no hints for you if you ask...heehee. We had given the task to the GPSs we had with us, and in here it was difficult to get a real comfortable reading. So, like the cachers on the east side of the Island, and others, we have left you some tape nearby.

We ask that you make sure you have your very own writing stick with you - you always have one, don't you?? !! We do agree that no signature from you means no smiley for you - a simple exchange, really.

PLEASE NOTE - there is NO NEED to tear up the environment to find this cache.
