This cache is located within Harborough Magna which is a friendly village with good local amenities. This may therefore be a good location to start or finish your walk. Many of the villagers are dog owners and walking them is a popular way of meeting the neighbours, so do not be surprised if you are passed by a number of friendly local walkers as you search for this cache.
The path on which the cache is located leads from the village into a field which from early spring until late autumn will contain a herd of fresian cows. But do not be alarmed, this farmer is known to keep very docile and relaxed cows who will generally ignore you, to continue their grazing. This footpath can be followed to go straight ahead through another gate into the next field and on to the Easenhall Road. Or at that point, it crosses another footpath, taking you either left or right. If you do choose to go right, the path continues through a series of gates between the gardens of private houses. These gardens are very long and thin and were acquired when the local farmer sold off the land. The owners are however very friendly and well used to ramblers passing along the path.
If you continue along this path, it will take you to another geocache in a couple of hundred metres called "Round the Revel - A Kiss Before You Pass." Look it up because it forms a part of a very pleasant 4 mile circular walk which takes you to Easenhall, also with good amenities, another excellent place to rest, drink or eat.
