Geocache Description:

The cache is located about five minutes down from the parking lot at the Seven Oaks Preserve Trail.  The trail is heavily visited so please be careful not to alert muggles to the cache location.

The cache is a small clear Lock&Lock container located near the trailhead of a 2.8-mile natural surface trail located at the Seven Oaks Preserve.  Follow the trail down from the parking lot and cross over three bridges.  This will put you close to the cache locations.  The property is owned and managed by the Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) and the trail is a segment of the Carolina Thread Trail.

CLC partnered with the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and the Clean Water Management Trust Fund to preserve these 77 acres of mature hardwoods along 2.1-miles of the Lake Wylie shoreline.  This trail connects to other trails at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden including two segments at either end of the trail that creates a five mile loop from the trailhead at the Seven Oaks Preserve Trail.
