My sentence had been extended by 3 years following my last escape (GC27X31). Today, Officer Birder428 was off chasing others that “flew the coop”, so I saw my chance. This time, I pried the window open using a common shank I made from a red ball point pen I stole from the prison Shrink during one of my many sessions. Unfortunately, I didn’t get very far before being apprehended. I had not been out of The Joint in years, and really didn’t remember how nasty snow could be. When they caught up to me I almost hugged the guard for rescuing me. However, not before I stashed my shank.
