Marple Cardwell VFW Post 5910, in downtown Lebanon, features a M60A3, full tracked, 105mm combat tank and other artillery.
Lebanon is the county seat of Marion County, Kentucky. Lebanon was the site of three Civil War battles—1861, 1862 and 1863. The city holds within its bounds many historical sites, including Myrtledene, Sunnyside, the Union Commissary, Lebanon National Cemetery, the Maxwell House, and more. Information regarding a self-guided tour is available from the Chamber of Commerce. Also found in town is the Kentucky Cooperage, one of the largest bourbon barrel-making factories in the world; and two distilleries, Limestone Branch and Maker’s Mark.
