Welcome to the Ashland Historic Geo-Trail (WTA). The trail is designed not only for Geocachers but muggles alike to enjoy the area around Ashland, Kentucky.
Healthy Choices Kentucky is excited to offer this new Geo-Trail to bring people to discover the rich history of Ashland, Kentucky. The caches are all family friendly, not difficult to find and are designed to be easily accessible. The trail will consist of 11 caches, ten (10) traditional caches and one five stage multicache. There is also an easy and fun puzzle cache on the newly established Charles & Betty Russell Hiking Trail GC5R1FP
The Bath Avenue Historic District is located near Ashland's crown-jewel, the 47 acre Central Park. One of the most recognizable and famous houses on Bath Avenue is the historic Mayo Mansion, a 17,000 square foot mansion built in 1917.
