This bridge was first build for the tram line and the width was 14.55m. But now it became 35m. You will find the name plate at the side of the bridge which written by local juniour-highschool student.

岩松橋は西区千代崎と大正区三軒家を結ぶ橋で、当初市電松島南恩加島線の延伸開業に伴い、大正11年（1922年）7月に架設された。当時の幅員は14.55mであったが拡張され現在の有効幅員は35mある。橋の側面には銘板が埋め込まれているが、その文字は地元の中学生揮毫のものである。
