Geocache Description:

**BYO Pen!** **watch out for dangerous animals** Please be careful when pulling off on the side of the road for the caches along Kambah Pool Road. Welcome to my "Most Haunted" series! If you are into hunting ghosts, like me and my trusty Ovilus 3, then this is the series for you. This series lists my top ten (personal favorite!) haunted sites in the world. Some I have visited myself, others I am hoping to visit sometime in my life.

A more tragic haunt, in 1912 the Vallisca Axe Murder House was the sight of the murder of the Moore family and two guests. Two adults and six children were bludgeoned to death with an axe, and although many suspects were named, nobody was ever found guilty. Given the horror of such a crime, especially in those days and in as rural a state as Iowa, it is still considered one of the most tragic unsolved cases in US history. Also given the severity of the crime its considered one of the most haunted homes in the state, with unfortunately many video and audio files capturing the voices of spirit children, and the spirit children have become the most infamous studies to emerge from the Vallisca haunt. This created much speculation and anger within and without the paranormal community, as many Americans in the midwest and where out are very religious and believe the children's spirits are in heaven and not stuck on earth.
