Geocache Description:




This is the official Welcome to MOGA 2014 event hosted by Buckeye Geocachers Society. We are very proud to be the sponsoring group for this MEGA event in Athens, Ohio, and welcome all the cachers to our home. We are proud of what southeastern Ohio has to offer.

Admission to the event is free of charge. A meal will be provided for a small charge of $5 per person. When you arrive, you will be given the opportunity to purchase a meal. You do not have to purchase a meal to attend, socialize, or log the event.


This event will be held at the Eclipse Company Town in The Plains, Ohio, just a few miles north of Athens. Please note that PARKING IS LIMITED.If possible, please car pool to the event to help us accommodate everyone that wants to attend. There will be BGS members, at the parking coordinates provided, directing people to designated parking. Please cooperate with them. If a member of your party is in need of physical assistance, please indicate this when you arrive.

Directions: The Eclipse Company Town is located 2 miles north of Athens and Ohio University, and just south of The Plains, Ohio. From U.S. Route 33, turn onto Johnson Road at the Athens Messenger building (Follow (Johnson Turn) Cordinates Provided. Half-way through the big sweeping curve, take the first left onto Jackson Drive. There is where you will meet our parking helpers.
