The cache is just a waterproof plastic bag with Log and a magnet.
Dor beach (Hof Dor) (עברית: חוף דור) is one of the finest beaches in israel.
White sands, ancient islands, shipwrecks, palm trees, bays, breakwaters, geysers, hidden caves and exciting tracks make this wonderful beach to an unknown perfect place to spend one sunny day or more.
Beach entrance fee is required 12 shekels. There are a restaurant, a lifeguard during the bathing season, wide umbrellas and chairs are totaly free on the beach.
The cache is on the island in front of the entrance and a little bit left. It is magneted to the sign "not to swim across". Bring your own pencil!
Access to the island is through shallow bay. No need to know to swim, the water is maximum two feet deep in the bay.
Recommended reach the island with shoes or flipflops! Walking on the island without shoes is very painful.
חולות לבנים, איים עתיקים, ספינות טבועות, עצי דקל ומפרצים, שוברי גלים, גייזרים, מערות נסתרות ומסלולים מרתקים הופכים את החוף הנפלא והלא ידוע הזה למקום המושלם לבלות בו יום שמשי אחד או יותר.
הכניסה לחוף כרוכה בתשלום סמלי של 12 שקלים. בחוף יש מסעדה, מציל בעונת הרחצה, שמשיות רחבות וכסאות ללא תוספת תשלום.
המטמון נמצא על האי מול הכניסה וקצת שמאלה, והוא צמוד במגנט לעמוד עם השלט שאסור לשחות מעבר אליו. תביאו איתכם עיפרון!
הגישה לאי היא דרך המפרץ הרדוד. אין צורך לדעת לשחות, המים בעומק של כחצי מטר לכל אורך המפרץ.
מומלץ להגיע לאי עם נעליים או כפכפי חוף! ההליכה על האי ללא נעליים כואבת מאוד.
