Please join us for a trail mix to to some fine stone arch Earth Caches in celebration of Earth Day 2014 in the Red River Gorge. We have obtained permission from the staff at the Daniel Boone National Forest - Red River Gorge National Geological Area to hold this event and are excited to host it. Following the short event we will hike to a few arches from the parking lot coordinates given for the event and then drive to the other parking areas to make the hikes to other arches. Most trails are not too far in length and distances are described on the Earth Cache page for arches in the area.

Due to Nature Preserve status, pets are not allowed on trails at Natural Bridge State Resort Park.

Upon publication of this event we will attach a bookmark listing of the Earth Cache arches that we have completed in this area. An additional arch Earth Cache may be published before the event so stay tuned. There is also a challenge (GC4W9GC Arch Bridge Earth Cache 10 Finds Challenge) that you could qualify for with the final located in this area.

Be sure to dress appropriately with some sturdy hiking boots and bring your lunch and plenty of water. A light breakfast of homemade muffins and fresh fruit will be provided at the event site.

9:00 a.m. Meet in parking area (parking coordinates provided on this cache page) in the Red River Gorge to sign event log and meet fellow adventurous cachers.
