We wanted to get off the couch and get some exercise so we figured the best way to do that was a nice hike on the Florida Trail with some good friends! We will meet up from 8:30 to 9:00 for a quick "hello" and swap a few geocaching stories, then hit the trail.
Please remember to bring your hiking stick and anything else you feel is needed for hiking.
We will supply water, energy/rehydrate drinks and snack bars. If you want to bring anything else, that would be great too!
WE ARE PLANNING A "LUNCH" STOP AT FARLES PRAIRIE LAKE - OFF ROAD 595 AT 1:00. THE FLORIDA TRAIL PASSES THIS AREA. PLEASE BRING SOMETHING TO SHARE. WE WILL SUPPLY SANDWICHES AND WATER. ALL THOSE HIKING THE TRAIL CAN DROP OFF THEIR FOOD DONATIONS AT THE HIKING EVENT AND WE WILL TRANSPORT TO THE LUNCH STOP. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, WHETHER YOU WISH TO HIKE OR NOT. COME OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN!!
