The chalky 'cliffs' visible here show clearly what the surrounding area is made of under the soil. Be slightly careful looking around becuase the chalk can crumble and easily become displodged. The pathway along the rout affords great views of St Mary's church, Saffron Walden and the surrounding countryside. If you time it right you could even take in a game at Catons Lane football ground and watch "The Bloods" in action!
The cache in not located in the cliffs as such but very nearby. It is a small lidded container.
