Family cache. Heading north on Blue Ridge Trail (#107A) from Trailhead #2, toward the top of Blue Ridge Mountain. Cache is off the trail a bit, but gives beautiful long range views in the open areas between the trees. Great place for lunch.
Lots of elk and turkey tracks, if you are quiet you just might spot some. See if you can find the resident squirrel in the trees above the cache. Several elk rubbed trees along the way too. Fun and games for the first to find. Enjoy!
