June 7th is also a very special day for a man with a legendary larynx... Sir Tom Jones will be 74 that very day. Not so much hip gyration, more hip replacement, and the underwear thrown on the stage is probably a little, ummm, comfier, than previously (not that I'd know - Mr BH) but he can still sing the part - so let's celebrate his birthday in style.

Just before 6pm, secret yourself at a discreet location close by. At 6 on the dot, everyone emerges and plonks themselves at the published co-ords, and we all gather together for a chat and a giggle. Who knows, we might, if you're feeling brave, begin a rendition of one of the great man's classics ;-)

We'll have a few spot prizes and fun games hopefully.
Just before 6:15pm, there'll be a group photo and official business will be concluded.
After the official event, we'll disperse and leave the muggles wondering what on earth went on. You're of course welcome to join us at a nearby establishment (see the 'after' co-ordinates in the waypoints) for an extended geochat, with food and drink served. Family friendly. This part of the event is obviously completely optional but we'd love to see you.
There is an optional element for those who would like - present yourself at the event co-ords at 5pm and you'll be given a special secret mission to be accomplished between 5pm and 6pm.
In keeping with the occasion, and for a purely optional bit of fun, feel free to dress as Sir Tom did back in the day - medallions, curly wigs, chest wigs, the lot! Go wild! 
We shall be hiding a number of caches for the occasion with the emphasis being very much on variety. More details to be firmed up nearer the time.
