Geocache Description:

Cache is hidden just off a popular trail along James I. Rice Parkway, which follows the Mississippi River. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Stealth is a must to preserve this hide.

Congrats to EchelonOverlord and emtingi on co/FTF!

The cache is named for the North Star Lumber Company, which once stood on this site as part of an active sawmill district in the late 1800's. See the nearby Grand Rounds info board for more information about the role that this industry played in Minneapolis's history.

Cache size is somewhere between small and normal -- definitely room for smaller trackables. I'm calling this one "available in winter", since I hid it with plenty of snow on the ground.
