Freshwater Place Traditional Cache

Welcome to Defamily’s 7th hide Freshwater Place. The cache is located in a little square at the bottom of the (at time of publishing) 8th tallest building in Melbourne. There are a lot of residents in the building and there are often lots of people around so this one should be done at night or in the early morning (a weekend would also be fine).
Freshwater Place is a simple traditional cache which is located in the heart of Southbank. The area is quite busy so your biggest issue should be muggles and GPS signal. The cache is not what it was originally intended to be and is now a very simple cache which poses little challenge- sorry. You can read about why below. As with all our caches the first three finds are PMO- please sign up to support our great activity. The sad story of this cache We had wanted to place a cache here for a very long time. We knew exactly what we wanted but we couldn’t find one. We finally found one and placed it- then the cache was published. The crowds came and it could not be found. The cache was a fake rock. However it is impossible to place too difficult cache in such an unreliable GPS zone. The cache was then replaced with this- a stock standard micro. For this we sincerely apologise however we hope you still have fun. Good luck Defamily
