Geocache Description:

BORO PARK HIDE #3

This cache is hidden in a place where you might hear “Go Team Go” on any given Sunday during the fall.  It is a place where little guys, donned in football gear that is often waaaayyyy too big for them, go to play one of America’s favorite games.   The park, like many in the BORO, is really a complex, with spectator stands, and wide open spaces surrounded by berms of pine trees and of, course parking spaces.  And when there aren’t enough spaces near the complex, you can just go park in the enormous adjacent lot.  That is where you will find cars, trucks and school busses when the complex is not in use.  So use stealth when seeking this cache because there will likely be someone hanging around or walking their dog across the lot.

The coordinates above are not the location of the cache, but rather of a spot in the parking lot.  To help you figure out where the cache is, I’ve enlisted some NFL football players (2013-2014) who will line up to help you out.

Representing the North Team at 40 degrees, we have:

Stephen Gostkowski, New England Patriots

Mike Wallace, Miami Dolphins

Quinton Patton, San Francisco 49ers

Representing the West Team at 074 degrees, we have:

John Conner, New York Giants

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

D’Brickashaw Ferguson, New York Jets

After these athletes have helped you, you can check your findings on GeoCheck.org.

The coordinates were set using a phone app, so you might have to expand your search a little bit.   Log and Pencil only.  But, there is a carabiner and a Geo Sticker for the FTF inside the container.

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY CACHING! Congrats to HOODFIELD for the FTF :)
