Penrhyn Bay
Penhryn Bay (Welsh: Bae Penrhyn), is a small town on the north Wales coast, in Conwy county borough, within the parish or community of Llandudno, and part of the ecclesiastical parish of Llanrhos. It is a propserous village with a cluster of local shops, a pub, 2 churches, and a modern medical centre with a doctors' surgery at the foot of the pass over the shoulder of the Little Orme from Llandudno. There is also a highschool here called Ysgol Y Creuddyn and a primary school called Ysgol Glanwydden - which was my primary school! :) Penrhyn Bay is considered to be a residential suburb of Llandudno lying east of the Little Orme. It adjoins the resort of Rhos-on-Sea.
The Cache
Where better to start than right on the edge of Penrhyn Bay? This cache is inside the village - but only just!! Make of that what you will ;)
You can park very close to the cache but please be careful not to obstruct passing traffic, safer parking is available round the corner on Morfa Road.
YOU WILL NEED TWEEZERS AND YOUR OWN PEN FOR THIS CACHE! PLEASE BE CAREFUL REMOVING THE LOG AND REPLACING IT.
From here you can walk up Glan Y Mor road in the direction of Llandudno for the second cache!
Happy caching :)
