If you are heading up the river trail traveling north bound, you will go up a slight hill and this cache will be near the rock wall to your left. If you walk to the split to the dog leg canyon trail you've gone too far.

You may have to climb a bit, but only a level or two. It's a micro and it's metalic green. Bring your own pen and please write small as we couldn't fit that much paper in there for log space.
