Geocache Description:

The cache is placed at Stonebridge Pond a great spot for feeding the ducks but be careful with young children. At the far end of the pond is the salt water of Faversham Creek where there used to be a mill which required fresh water supplied by a stream crossed originally by a ford and then a Stonebridge.  The information board at the cache site gives more detail about the importance of this area of Faversham, the Gunpowder industry and Davington Priory. It can be a busy spot at times so stealth is required. You do need to cross over the wooden bridge to get to the cache as it can't be reached from the road side and there is nowhere to stand safely. There is room for trackable items in the cache. Please place back as found.
