The monument of the paratroopers, is West of Highway 40, near the ramp to the Tel NOF airbase. Nationwide memorials are added to slices paratroopers martyrs Memorial meeting points, but this monument commemorates all the paratroopers Israel fallen soldiers, including the men who volunteered to serve in the British army during World War II.
The monument was erected near the army base of Tel NOF, formerly a central base for the parachute training at IDF. It was inaugurated on (29 September 1960), this site is an annual Memorial Service for fallen paratroopers state that fell in Israel.

האנדרטה הוקמה בסמיכות לבסיס הצבאי בתל נוף, ששימש בעבר כבסיס מרכזי לאימוני הצניחה בצה"ל. היא נחנכה ב-ח' בתשרי תשכ"א (29 בספטמבר 1960) ומאז, בסמוך לתאריך זה, נערכת באתר זה אזכרה שנתית ממלכתית לכל חללי הצנחנים שנפלו במערכות ישראל
