All are welcome at New Bethel Baptist Church. This a cemetery where a lot of my Daddy's family have been laid to rest.  Howard Thomas Shartzer was born May 9,1939 down this very road. He also attended school in a little one room building 'down in the hollar'. Mom and Daddy raised 11 children. While I was growing up we lived in Lodiburg.  But in 1988 they returned here to New Bethel Church Rd. Years later and just after retiring from Commomwealth Aluminum Daddy became sick. He faught a long battle. Always remaining strong and positive.  Never letting his children of wife see the toll his illness was taking on him. On December 11,2012 Daddy passed away at their residence. He has now "gone home." This is an official Kentucky Spirit Quest cache.
