GCCO is proud to bring you 3 WWFM Flash Mobs this year! Loveland, Castle Rock and Colorado Springs. Let any of us know if you'd like to host elsewhere, thanks!
Please log a 'Will Attend' so we know you're coming. Bring all your friends so we can make this year the largest worldwide attendance to date! This World Wide Flash Mob will occur at 11:00 AM-11:15 AM. I wonder what country has to do this at 4:00AM???



WWFM – World Wide Flash Mobs: A fun and friendly way to promote geocaching around the world. Thousands of geocachers at dozens of coordinated events spanning the globe, gathering at the same time. Sonny and Sandy of the PodCacher podcast came up with the WWFM idea in 2007 after attending a mega-event. It was meant to be a fun “opposite” of a mega-event: all the cool aspects of a geocaching event, crammed into 15 minutes of excitement. An added dimension is represented by the letters "WW" - World Wide - these events occur across the planet on the same day at (mostly) the same time! These caching events are intended to bring geocachers together in a creative way, as well as introduce others (newbies) to the hobby.


Event plan: (Only 15 minutes long!)

Until 11:00 AM : Get here early. Stay not far from, though not right at the posted coords, somewhere you can see GZ, and act like a muggle.

11:00 AM : Enjoy the fun spirit of the WWFM! Gather up quickly at the posted coords! Sign log sheet, trade trackables and swap stories.

11:10 AM : Attack Signal with your yarn. Don't worry you can't miss him.

11:13 AM : PHOTO time!

11:15 AM : Split up! Leave without a trace.



Afterwards: Log your "Attended" and earn a special WWFM XI Geocaching Souvenir!
