This is another cache in the "Pits" area on the southwest part of Roswell. The area is know for dirtbikes and four-wheelers. My son and I enjoy hiking in this desert terrain. If you are comfortable driving your vehicle on rough dirt roads, you can drive fairly close to the cache. You'll still need to hop out of your vehicle for a very short walk. If you don't want to drive your vehicle on these rough dirt roads, you can park at the baseball field and take about a 15-20 minute walk to find this geocache.
This is in the desert, so there are lots of spiky things: cacti, goatheads, ants, etc. Please plan accordingly. Also, please stay hydrated in this hot, dry climate.
