This geocache was hidden by a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 457 based in Pinecrest, Fla. It commemorates the work of Eagle Scout Hugo T. who completed his Eagle Scout service project at the nearby elementary school. The project included removing non-native plants, planting natives in their place, re-laying pavers, painting and general cleanup. Each year, Eagle Scout service projects contribute more than three million volunteer work hours in communities around the world. Troop 457 is one of the top Boy Scout Troops in America, having produced more than 250 Eagle Scouts.
